We will contact you via your preferred method of contact (e.g. e-mail, royal mail or telephone) to invite you to participate in surveys, interviews, focus groups or usability evaluations. We expect surveys should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Interviews and Focus groups may require a greater commitment. However, we would clarify and explain what is required prior to you giving consent.
Although we appreciate your thoughts and opinions and hope that you will contribute to our activities, you will always have the option to accept or decline our invitation to participate. You are under no obligation to do anything.

Due to current research standards and our own professional standards, we currently do not accept panel members under the age of 18. However, if you are under 18 but would like to contribute, we would encourage your parents or guardian to join the panel as a carer.
When we have a survey available that may be of interest to you, we will invite your using your preferred method to take part in the survey. This may be a paper based survey an email containing the link to our survey which you can complete on-line.
Your responses to our surveys are confidential. They are combined with the answers of other respondents and reported only in the aggregate (your responses will never be connected to you or your personal information). Therefore your personal information will never be identifiable in any report.
The information that you provide will also provide immensely valuable information to help us identify unmet needs that are common to patients living with wounds as well as ensuring a patient-centred approach is used for the development of new products for wound care.
The data will be used lawfully, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to know what information is held about you, and sets out rules to make sure that this information is handled properly
Protecting your privacy is essential to our work. We report our survey results in the aggregate so that your personal information is not identifiable. We never provide individual information to anyone without your prior consent.
Absolutely not. Your personal details are never shared with anyone without your prior consent. We will never sell, lend, or otherwise make available to any outside entity any personally identifiable information you provide. Although all of us receive junk mail, you can be assured it will not be as a result of your participation in the WoundTec Community Panel.
If you no longer wish to be part of our WoundTec Community Panel, simply contact us using using email or phone. After submitting your request, you are no longer an active member of the panel and you will not be contacted again
